About The Position

Provides specialized operational, financial, and administrative support related to physician/provider contractual agreements and processes. Supports and partners with key customers including but not limited to; physician services, finance, payroll, legal, operational leaders, and providers through contract management activities, payment reconciliation, compliance monitoring, maintenance of provider records, and manages payment related tasks, including tracking payments, reconciling invoices, and ensure timely disbursements in alignment with contract terms. As a “Physician Support Specialist” you will: Responsible for supporting physician/provider contract administration, accounting processes, and physician relation services. Receives assignments for specific trips and associated tasks from Manager and/or Dispatchers. Serves as the first point of contact for physician or vendor representative questions, resolve issues, respond to complaints Obtains & ensures required documentation / monitoring information is kept and in compliance with CMS regulations (e.g., contracts, timesheets / invoices, payments, etc). Responsible for tracking and monitoring non-employed physician contracts and ensuring requests for payments are accurate and supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with the terms and conditions of the physician contracts. Handles communication with the highest level of discretion and integrity. Participates in special projects / activities to improve the effectiveness of services. Engages in activities that enhance or improve coordination, preparation & flow of the department processes & core work.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare administration, accounting support, contract administration, payroll support, or related experience.
  • Experience working with contracts, invoices, payments, timesheets, and/or financial reconciliation processes.
  • Experience working with Physicians and/or physician contracts.
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills that include creating workbooks with basic formulas, formatting worksheets, and linking data across multiple worksheets.

Responsibilities
