Emory at LaGrange Orthopaedics & Spine clinics offers a full range of services, from non-surgical treatments to surgical options, with the goal of helping patients return to a full and active lifestyle or developing strategies to improve their health. The LaGrange outpatient clinics service a populous of more than 250,000. With an increasing patient population and community growth, there is an opportunity to see and treat a broad range of medical conditions alongside a diverse demographic. LaGrange offers a mild climate and an extraordinary lakefront community with outdoor activities like hiking, boating, and fishing on West Point Lake. The community also boasts an art scene with Sweetland Amphitheater, The Thread trail, excellent public and private schools, easy access to mountains and beaches, and a busy international airport 50 minutes away. Troup County hosts Georgia’s International Business Park (GIPB), the largest business park in the southeast and the 4th largest in the world, attracting major international companies. This role is for a Spine Proceduralist specializing in injections, pain management procedures, light opioid prescription authority, and minimally invasive procedures, with expertise in musculoskeletal and nerve-related conditions. The physician will work closely with the Emory Pain Management Clinic.

Requirements

• Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
• Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
• Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must be computer literate.

Nice To Haves

• Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred.
• Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing.
• Attend to the medical needs of all patients by performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume.
• Participate in on-call duties.
• Actively participate in meetings and committees.
• Practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.
