About The Position

Corewell Health is seeking an experienced Sleep Medicine Physician to join a well-established outpatient sleep medicine practice in Southeast Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys outpatient care, sleep study interpretation, and building long-term relationships with patients in the community. The ideal candidate will be clinically experienced, collaborative, and committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered sleep medicine care.

Requirements

• Required Doctorate
• LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
• LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience preferred; approximately 10 years of experience is desired but not required.
• The Ideal candidate is experienced, community-oriented, and interested in remaining with the practice long term.
• Clinical background may include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, ENT, Primary Care, Neurology, Pulmonary Medicine, or Pulmonary Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient sleep medicine care for adult patients.
• Interpret sleep studies and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support efficient, coordinated patient care.
• Maintain timely documentation and follow Corewell Health clinical standards.
• Participate in call coverage as needed, with the expectation that call is rare and supported by cross coverage.
• Support a positive patient experience and contribute to the long-term growth of the sleep medicine program.
