How you’ll contribute As the Physician Services Director, you will excel in this role by: Develop and implement departmental goals, operational plans, and performance standards aligned with organizational, clinical, regulatory, and ethical requirements. Direct and evaluate daily departmental operations, including patient care coordination, provider engagement, service delivery, and resolution of operational issues to ensure high-quality outcomes. Lead workforce planning and staff development activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, scheduling, and continuing education initiatives. Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental budgets to ensure effective resource utilization and financial accountability. Utilize performance data, quality metrics, and reporting tools to identify opportunities for improvement and support operational excellence. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies, including oversight of audits, reporting, and readiness for regulatory surveys. Foster a collaborative, service-oriented environment that supports professional growth, accountability, and strong interdisciplinary partnerships. Schedule: Full Time, Days

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and progressive leadership experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Extensive leadership experience in healthcare operations, physician services, ambulatory services, or clinical administration, with demonstrated success in a director-level or comparable role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards, including HIPAA and compliance best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through performance management, staff development, workforce planning, and organizational change.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in budget development, variance analysis, and driving operational efficiency and performance improvement.
  • Strong physician relations and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across clinical and administrative teams.
  • Executive-level communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
