This position is responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing administration of physician and extender schedules for multiple local practices using QGenda. The role involves generating and communicating real-time schedule changes, including emergency coverage and absences, and producing various scheduling and staffing reports. The Physician Scheduler will partner closely with Practice Directors and Regional leadership to align staffing needs with operational goals and effectively communicate scheduling protocols and updates to physicians and internal stakeholders. Candidates must be local to the Columbus, OH area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of physician scheduling experience required
• Strong working knowledge of QGenda required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive requests

Nice To Haves

• Radiologist scheduling strongly preferred
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment preferred
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation and ongoing administration of physician and extender schedules for multiple local practices using QGenda
• Generate and communicate real-time schedule changes, including emergency coverage and coverage for meetings or unplanned absences
• Produce scheduling and staffing reports including shift distribution, extra shifts, PTO, and payroll-related data
• Partner closely with Practice Directors and Regional leadership to align staffing needs with operational goals
• Communicate scheduling protocols, updates, and changes effectively with physicians and internal stakeholders
