About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Physician Recruitment and Development Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. This role provides crucial support to the Physician Recruitment and Development team, handling administrative duties and tasks related to end-to-end recruitment and onboarding. The coordinator will also play a key role in physician payer and hospital privileging, orientation, and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new physicians. Maintaining accurate records and supporting the development of recruitment processes are also key functions of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in provider recruitment, medical staff services, health care operations, human resources, or administrative role required
  • Previous physician-facing and provider recruitment experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Human Resources, HealthCare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple Physician Recruitment and Development team members with administrative duties and tasks related to end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including sourcing assistance, initial screenings, candidate communication, preparation and management of offer letters/employment agreements
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews and events related to Physician Recruitment, including coordinating travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, and reimbursements for candidates, ensuring a high-quality, high-touch candidate experience
  • Support physician payer and hospital privileging, orientation and onboarding, including coordination of pre-employment requirements and organization of orientation schedules and onboarding checklists and materials
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, requisitions, documents, and data within the applicant tracking system and recruitment metrics, dashboards/reports, and status updates
  • Support development and deployment of processes and procedures that promote the best talent and outcomes, including ongoing physician development programs, mentoring activities, and retention initiatives
