About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician specializing in Radiology at a hospital in Jefferson City, MO. The role involves providing supplemental clinical coverage, focusing on Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology procedures. The coverage period is from November 2, 2026, to May 3, 2027, with a night shift schedule. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. The rate is to be determined (TBD).
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) in Radiology
- Hospital Privileges Required
- Ability to complete credentialing within 60-90 days
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology interpretations for approximately 80-90% of caseload
- Perform light interventional radiology procedures including LPs, myelos, paras, and thoras (10-20% of caseload)
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for all documentation and image review
- Provide nights coverage as scheduled
- Maintain board certification and compliance with credentialing requirements
