About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for an Interventional Radiologist requiring onsite coverage Monday-Friday from 0800-1700, with additional night and weekend call coverage. The physician will be responsible for covering a patient load of approximately 12 patients per day, with an estimated 0-2 hours of call-back time on average. The practice setting is a mix of outpatient/hospital-based (70%) and inpatient/hospital-based (30%). One physician is needed to fill this coverage gap due to retirement.

Requirements

• Board Certification Required
• BLS/ACLS Certification Required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• DEA Certification Required
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR/documentation system

Nice To Haves

• Ohio State License preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite coverage Monday-Friday from 0800-1700.
• Provide night call coverage Monday-Friday from 1700-0800.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Perform procedures including Angioplasty, Embolization, Port Catheter Placement, Biopsy, Drainage, Ablation, and Kyphoplasty.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR/documentation system.
• Respond to calls via beeper/phone for call coverage.
