About The Position

Liberty Hospital, now part of The University of Kansas Health System, is seeking a board eligible/board certified Pulmonologist to join its dedicated team. This role prioritizes collaboration, community care, and patient-centered excellence. The position involves a blend of outpatient care, inpatient rounding, and ICU responsibilities within a group of four pulmonary/critical care physicians. The physician will manage a 20-bed open ICU with EICU coverage available from 7 pm to 7 am. The team has access to a variety of resources, including CT surgery, pulmonary rehabilitation, a sleep lab, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy. The call rotation for this individual will follow a 1:4 schedule, and there is an opportunity to collaborate with nurse practitioners.

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine
• Eligible for licensure in Missouri
