About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC Pulmonologist to join an established pulmonology team in Decatur, Illinois. This location can support J-1 and H-1B visa candidates. The position offers suburban living with convenient access to amenities and is within driving distance of Chicago and St. Louis. The team is flexible with part-time or full-time schedules. HSHS Medical Group is a multispecialty group with over 350 providers across 60 clinics in central and southern Illinois, supported by a strong primary care referral base. Requirements

Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology
M.D., D.O., or MBBS
Clinical doctorate is required.
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
Must be board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

Monday – Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 or 5 day work week
Minimal after hours clinic call only, no hospital or inpatient call rotation.
Utilize EPIC EMR
Work with dedicated support staff
Utilize robotics for surgical cases
Flexibility to a 1.0 to 0.5 FTE
