About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonologist to join an established, growing pulmonology practice in O'Fallon, Illinois. H-1B visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Located just outside St. Louis, O'Fallon offers suburban living with convenient access to metropolitan amenities. HSHS Medical Group is a physician-led multispecialty group with over 350 providers across central and southern Illinois, supported by a strong primary care referral network and integrated specialty collaboration. As part of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a Catholic, nonprofit health system serving Illinois and Wisconsin, the organization is guided by a mission of compassionate care, clinical excellence, and innovation. The position features a Monday-Friday outpatient clinic schedule, utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system, and offers dedicated clinical and administrative support staff. An established patient panel with strong referral support is available, and the practice has access to robotic-assisted bronchoscopy technology. The role is located on the HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital campus in O'Fallon, Illinois.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA registration prior to start date.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology.
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or equivalent (M.B.B.S.).
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
