About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonologist to join an established, growing pulmonology practice in O'Fallon, Illinois. This position offers H-1B visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. O'Fallon provides a suburban living experience with convenient access to the amenities of St. Louis. HSHS Medical Group is a physician-led multispecialty group with over 350 providers across central and southern Illinois, supported by a strong primary care referral network and integrated specialty collaboration. As part of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a Catholic, nonprofit health system, the organization is committed to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and innovation. The practice features a Monday-Friday outpatient clinic schedule, utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system, and is supported by dedicated clinical and administrative staff. An established patient panel and strong referral support are in place, with access to robotic-assisted bronchoscopy technology. The position is located on the HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital campus.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA registration prior to start date.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology.
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or equivalent (M.B.B.S.).
  • Successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Deliver care within an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative support staff.
  • Leverage robotic-assisted bronchoscopy technology.
