About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine Physician to join their well-established team in Chicago’s western suburbs. This opportunity is 70% Sleep Medicine and 30% Pulmonary, with no critical care duties. The role involves outpatient clinics in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL, and inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. The physician will join a diverse group of 10 pulmonary, interventional pulmonary, and sleep physicians, 5 APNs, and a sleep psychologist. The team treats a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services, with robust in-house interventional services, comprehensive lung cancer screening, and advanced sleep and breathing disorder management. There are dedicated ILD and transplant clinics, and multidisciplinary conferences for tumor board, ILD, and dyspnea. The call schedule is equal amongst physicians. This is an employed full-time position within a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care, utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system wide.

Requirements

Board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine
Board certified/board eligible in sleep medicine

Responsibilities

Treat a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services
Provide Peds, Neuro, Pulmonary, and Interventional Pulmonary services
Conduct inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital
Participate in outpatient clinics located in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL
Engage in dedicated ILD and transplant clinics
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board/ILD/dyspnea conferences
Share an equal call schedule amongst physicians
