Physician: Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine - Winfield, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine Physician to join their well-established team in Chicago’s western suburbs. This is an employed full-time position within a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care. The role involves 70% Sleep Medicine and 30% Pulmonary duties, with no critical care responsibilities. Outpatient clinics are located in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL, with inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. The position utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system wide.
Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine
- Board certified/board eligible in sleep medicine
Responsibilities
- Treat a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services (Peds, Neuro, Pulmonary, Interventional Pulmonary)
- Provide robust in-house interventional service
- Manage comprehensive lung cancer screening
- Handle advanced sleep and breathing disorders management
- Conduct dedicated ILD and transplant clinics
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board/ILD/dyspnea conferences
- Perform outpatient clinic duties in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL
- Conduct inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital/Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital
- Share an equal call schedule amongst physicians
