About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary Medicine Physician to join their well-established team in Chicago’s western suburbs. This is an employed full-time position within a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care. The role involves outpatient clinics in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL, and inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. The position utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system.
Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine or pulmonary and sleep medicine.
Responsibilities
- Treats a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services (Peds, Neuro, Pulmonary, Interventional Pulmonary).
- Provides care in outpatient clinics located in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL.
- Conducts inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital.
- Participates in a robust in-house interventional service.
- Engages in comprehensive lung cancer screening.
- Manages advanced sleep and breathing disorders.
- Works within dedicated ILD and transplant clinics.
- Participates in multidisciplinary tumor board/ILD/dyspnea conferences.
- Shares an equal call schedule amongst physicians.
