About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary Medicine Physician to join their well-established team in Chicago’s western suburbs. This is an employed full-time position within a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care. The role involves working with a diverse group of physicians, APNs, and a sleep psychologist, offering a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services. The position includes robust in-house interventional services, comprehensive lung cancer screening, advanced sleep and breathing disorders management, dedicated ILD and transplant clinics, and multidisciplinary conferences. Outpatient clinics are located in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL, with inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. The call schedule is equal amongst physicians, and the organization utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system wide.

Requirements

Board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine or pulmonary and sleep medicine

Responsibilities

Treat a wide spectrum of sleep disorders and pulmonary services (Peds, Neuro, Pulmonary, Interventional Pulmonary)
Provide robust in-house interventional services
Manage comprehensive lung cancer screening
Manage advanced sleep and breathing disorders
Conduct dedicated ILD and transplant clinics
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board/ILD/dyspnea conferences
Conduct outpatient clinics in Geneva, Winfield, and Naperville, IL
Perform inpatient rounds at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital
Share an equal call schedule amongst physicians
