About The Position

Outstanding Practice Opportunity treating traditional pulmonary diseases in both Inpatient and Outpatient in Columbus, Mississippi. The role involves managing 18 CCU beds with an average census of 14. The Critical Care Unit is closed and the physician will work one week a month with three other Pulmonologists. J1 Sponsorship is available with financial assistance and an experienced legal team. Employment is with Baptist Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group with over 1500 providers. Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle is a 323-bed acute care, level-3 trauma facility located in east central Mississippi, staffed by over 100 medical and surgical physicians representing almost every specialty.

Requirements

Board certified or eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care.
Ability to treat traditional pulmonary diseases.
Willingness to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ability to manage CCU beds and patient census.
Willingness to work one week a month in a closed Critical Care Unit.
