About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), is seeking to employ an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join its well-established program at its Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The incoming provider will join a large and well-supported team of 31 interdisciplinary physicians and 20 advanced practice providers caring for patients in seven locations across Broward and Palm Beach counties. This is a full-time opportunity. The role involves evaluating patients for psychiatric symptoms and diagnosis, pharmacological management, consultations with medical teams and caregivers, and providing short-term therapy and crisis intervention. The opportunity involves both hospital and clinic settings, requires on-call coverage for clinic patients, and one weekend per month for hospital rounds. We are seeking candidates who focus on quality, excellent patient-centered care, exhibit professional demeanor, and promote collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment. Compensation is commensurate with training and experience.

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
• Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
