About The Position

Physician Care Centers (PCC) is a growing healthcare MSO with 70+ value-based primary care clinics serving patients across Florida, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, and Nevada. With a team of 500+ professionals, we’re committed to delivering exceptional care and improving patient outcomes. We’re seeking a Physician – Primary Care to provide comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical care to individuals across the lifespan. The physician diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions, promotes preventive health, coordinates care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Completion of accredited residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty.
  • Current unrestricted state medical license.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • DEA registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
  • Cultural competency and community-oriented care focus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, imaging, and EKGs.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness exams.
  • Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, asthma, and COPD.
  • Perform minor office procedures such as suturing, skin biopsies, joint injections, and I&D.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise and collaborate with NPs, PAs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health management.
  • Comply with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
