About The Position

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Physician Practice Operations Manager for their clinic in Zionsville, IN. This full-time role is within the Physician Support Services department and involves managing daily practice operations, serving as a liaison between physicians, staff, and various departments to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. The manager will collaborate with physician leadership on growth strategies, business plans, and operational initiatives, while also overseeing staffing, recruitment, scheduling, payroll, performance management, employee relations, budgeting, billing, regulatory compliance, contracts, vendor relationships, and physician compensation support. The role also includes coordinating patient care services, monitoring patient flow, quality outcomes, and service delivery to enhance patient satisfaction and practice efficiency. The position is responsible for urgent care centers that operate 7 days a week.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
  • Prior Healthcare leadership experience required.

  • Clinical experience preferred.

  • Oversaw budgeting, billing and collections, regulatory compliance, contracts, vendor relationships, and physician compensation support to optimize financial performance and compliance.
  • Coordinated patient care services and monitored patient flow, quality outcomes, and service delivery to enhance patient satisfaction and improve practice efficiency.
