Physician Practice Manager Primary Care
About The Position
Ascension is seeking a Physician Practice Manager for Primary Care in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role involves overseeing daily practice operations, managing staff, patient flow, and site policies. The manager will act as a liaison between physicians, employees, and administrative/clinical departments, while also supporting financial objectives through budget monitoring and optimizing billing/collections. Additionally, the role includes developing practice growth strategies, business plans, and staffing to meet provider demands, as well as managing all aspects of staff relations.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily practice site operations, managing staff, patient flow, and site policies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between practice physicians, employees, and administrative/clinical departments.
- Support financial objectives, including budget monitoring and optimizing billing and collections functions.
- Develop and implement practice growth strategies, business plans, and staffing to meet provider demands.
- Manage all aspects of staff relations, including performance, recruitment, scheduling, and conflict management.
