About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a highly skilled, patient-centered Plastic Surgeon to join their established and growing Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery practice in Fargo, North Dakota. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position within a collaborative team that includes General Surgery providers, experienced nursing staff, and a comprehensive multidisciplinary care network. The practice benefits from a robust referral base supported by Essentia Health's large multispecialty clinics and extensive regional primary care network. The scope of practice is broad, encompassing both cosmetic and medical surgery. Clinic, procedure, and surgical services are conveniently located within a single integrated facility. There is an opportunity to collaborate with dedicated Wound Care and Hyperbaric programs, and to participate in a nationally accredited breast cancer program and multidisciplinary breast reconstruction care. The anticipated schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 36 patient contact hours per week. The average clinic volume is 8–16 patients per day. There is also an opportunity for outreach to outlying Essentia clinic(s)/hospital(s).

Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery

Responsibilities

Perform cosmetic and medical surgery.
Provide clinic, procedure, and surgical services within an integrated facility.
Collaborate with General Surgery providers, nursing staff, and a multidisciplinary care network.
Work with dedicated Wound Care and Hyperbaric programs.
Participate in multidisciplinary breast reconstruction care.
Engage in outreach to outlying Essentia clinic(s)/hospital(s) as needed.
