About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at a Rehab Hospital in East Sandwich, MA. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with an average daily census of 15. The coverage period is from January 4, 2027, to April 5, 2027. The position requires clinical duties Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and weekend call coverage approximately one in seven weekends. The role may require adapting to an attending or consultant role based on assignment needs. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available. The credentialing timeline is 3 to 6 months.
Requirements
- Active MA license
- Board Certified (BC)
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Willing to consider temp-to-perm license

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation care to patients on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Round on assigned patients and assist house officers with patient needs during weekend call coverage.
- Manage admissions and discharges for an average daily census of 15 patients.
- Participate in weekend call rotation, approximately one in seven weekends, with four hours gratis each day.
- Adapt to an attending or consultant role as assignment needs dictate.
