About The Position

Franciscan Health is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Physiatrist to join the Franciscan Physician Network. This role will serve the growing demand for services at Franciscan Health Crown Point, with outreach to Munster and Dyer. The provider will focus on general PM&R, stroke, traumatic brain injury, orthopedics, and neurology treatments. The ideal candidate will prioritize clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, possess exceptional interpersonal skills, and be eager to build strong community ties and lasting patient relationships. Collaboration with the existing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team is key to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Doctorate - Required
• Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• See procedures consisting of general PM&R, stroke, traumatic brain injury, orthopedics, and neurology treatments.
• Work collaboratively with the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation providers.
• Coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
• Future Outpatient/Ambulatory focus will include EMGs, Botox (Spasticity & Migraine Management), Pain Management/Interventions, and Prosthetics & Orthotics.
• If physician has a collaborative agreement with the APP, outreach will include Michigan City referrals - remote review of EPIC charts only.
