Physician: Periop (Part Time), Twin Falls
About The Position
St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a part-time physician to join their Periop Clinic. This specialized clinic is staffed by internal medicine hospitalists and APPs who assess perioperative risk, optimize chronic medical conditions before surgery, perform risk stratification, and educate patients to reduce complications and improve outcomes. This approach has led to fewer same-day cancellations, streamlined anesthesia care, and better patient experiences. The position offers 10-hour clinic shifts, 1-2 shifts per week, and is ideal for hospitalists, outpatient internal medicine, or family practice physicians. It's a good fit for early-career physicians seeking predictable schedules or late-career physicians looking to scale back.
Requirements
- MD/DO from accredited medical school
- BC/BE in Specialty
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
- Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System
