About The Position

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Pediatric Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic Children’s Clinic – University. Located adjacent to the University of Minnesota, our busy pediatric practice has an excellent working relationship with pediatric subspecialists at Masonic Children's Hospital. This established pediatric practice has more than 16 pediatric-only primary care physicians and advanced practice providers, with strong clinical support including RNs, Team Coordinators, and Lactation Consultants. The role involves approximately 10–20 patient encounters per shift, with a preferred 1.0 FTE (other FTE options may be considered). Full-time providers have 34 patient contact hours per week. Call is approximately 2–3 times per month, phone-only, with nurses answering first. Newborn rounding is approximately 5 weeks per year at University of Minnesota Medical Center. There are teaching opportunities as the clinic serves as a continuity clinic for University of Minnesota pediatric residents. The practice utilizes a fully integrated EPIC electronic medical record and offers employer-paid Nabla AI clinical documentation assistance.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pediatric residency training program.
BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable.
