This position is for a Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. The provider will be an innovative, collaborative professional focused on improving outcomes for children, adolescents, and young adults with oncologic and hematologic disorders. The practice is busy, providing excellent clinical care, and is academically distinguished with a full Children’s Oncology Group (COG) affiliation, a federally funded comprehensive hemophilia treatment center (Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Coagulation Disorders Program), and the Haworth Innovative Therapeutics Clinic for research opportunities. It also features a robust Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program and specialty clinics for sickle cell, neuro-oncology, and cancer survivorship. Teaching opportunities are available with medical students, residents, and within the practice’s accredited fellowship program. Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is the primary academic affiliate of Michigan State University, offering appointments for qualifying candidates and support for clinical research.
