About The Position
Pathology opportunity at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) seeks a pathologist to join a well-established and expanding hospital practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible to obtain a state medical license
- Completed an accredited residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Board certified or eligible in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment

Responsibilities
- Gross supervision and frozen sections
- Surgical cases including core, needle, GI and bronchoscopic biopsies
- Cytology
- Hematopathology
- Chemical pathology
- Blood banking
