About The Position

St. Luke’s Cancer Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Palliative Care Physician to join their nationally recognized oncology team. This position plays a vital role in advancing the mission to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with serious and complex illnesses. There is a potential opportunity for Medical Directorship.

Requirements

  • MD/DO from accredited medical school
  • BC/BE in Specialty
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
  • Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Program Development, Quality Improvement Initiatives and Education Efforts
  • Collaborate with social work, chaplains, and the broader palliative care team
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with serious and complex illnesses
