About The Position

As a Palliative Care Physician, you will join the thriving Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a premier multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region. You will play a pivotal role in our expanding Supportive Care / Palliative Care team in Citrus Heights, CA, delivering high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care. You will join an established, collaborative team of 6 Physicians and 3 APPs dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients facing serious illness. You will provide comprehensive Palliative Medicine services with a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between hospital-based acute symptom management and long-term outpatient palliative support. You will have the flexibility to craft your practice based on your professional preferences, ensuring a role that aligns with your strengths and interests. Requirements

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain a license)
  • Successful completion of a Hospice and Palliative Medicine or Geriatric Medicine fellowship, OR BE/BC in Palliative Care, OR Significant experience (minimum 2 years) in a focused Palliative Care program
  • A passion for providing clinically excellent care
