About The Position

West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division, Department of Pediatrics seeks an Outpatient Pediatric Physician (ranks available: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Berkeley County, WV. The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pediatrics. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. This is a Full Time Physician position working primarily in the outpatient clinic with after-hours phone call responsibility. The main practice location is 2000 Professional Court, Martinsburg, WV. The average number of patients per day is 20-25, with 2 providers and 8 additional staff in the practice.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• State medical license and DEA registration by start date.
• Completed Pediatric residency program.
• Board certified / eligible in Pediatrics.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of Pediatrics.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• After hours phone call coverage 3 times per month.
