About The Position
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon with training in Sports Medicine and Joint Preservation to join our growing orthopedic service line in Sacramento, CA. This position provides an opportunity to develop a cutting-edge practice focused on cartilage restoration, biologics, osteotomies, hip preservation, and advanced sports medicine procedures. The physician will collaborate closely with orthopedic subspecialists, rehabilitation specialists, and sports medicine providers to deliver comprehensive care to active patients seeking joint-preserving solutions. This role offers significant opportunities for program development, innovation, education, and research.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Sports Medicine fellowship
- Experience or special interest in joint preservation procedures
- Commitment to research, education, and clinical excellence
