About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our comprehensive orthopedic team in Sacramento, CA. This position offers a broad upper extremity practice encompassing hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and peripheral nerve conditions. The physician will collaborate closely with therapists, sports medicine physicians, and orthopedic colleagues to deliver coordinated care throughout the continuum of treatment. This is an excellent opportunity to build a thriving subspecialty practice within a highly respected healthcare system.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery
• Commitment to clinical excellence and collaboration

Nice To Haves

• Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand (CAQ) or eligibility preferred
• Interest in peripheral nerve, wrist, and upper extremity reconstruction preferred
