About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Hip and Joint Surgery. This is a great opportunity to join our team in the south suburbs of Chicago. Clinic opportunities in Orland Park, IL - Palos Heights, IL - and Mokena, IL. Hospital/OR privileges at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center. This role involves 3 clinic days and 2 OR days per week, with weekday and weekend call schedules that are equitably shared. The community offers exceptional schools, parks, restaurants, and amenities, with easy access to Chicago by car or commuter train.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
• Fellowship training in Hip and Joint Surgery
• Ability to obtain hospital/OR privileges at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center
• Willingness to participate in shared call schedules
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)

• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic surgical care with a focus on Hip and Joint Surgery.
• Conduct clinic appointments in Orland Park, Palos Heights, and Mokena.
• Perform surgeries at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center.
• Participate in weekday and weekend call schedules.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system.
