Physician: Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon - Orland Park and Mokena, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, well‑established orthopedic service line in the south suburbs of Chicago. Clinic opportunities are available in Orland Park, IL and Mokena, IL. The community offers excellent schools, parks, restaurants, and amenities, with easy access to Chicago by car or commuter train. Hospital/OR privileges will be at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center. The role involves 3 clinic days and 2 OR days per week, with equitably shared weekday and weekend call schedules. The position utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system. Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital is a 428 licensed bed facility serving the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship trained in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
- Must complete and authorize a background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform orthopedic foot and ankle surgeries.
- Conduct clinic appointments in Orland Park and Mokena.
- Provide care at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center.
- Participate in weekday and weekend call schedules.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system.
