About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, well‑established orthopedic service line in the south suburbs of Chicago. Clinic opportunities in Orland Park, IL and Mokena, IL. The community is exceptional with excellent schools, parks, restaurants and plenty of amenities. Easy access to Chicago by car or commuter train. Hospital/OR privileges at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center. This role involves 3 clinic days/2 OR days with weekday and weekend call schedules equitably shared. Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital is located just 20 miles from downtown Chicago and proudly serves the southwest suburbs of Chicago near Orland Park. The hospital is a 428 licensed bed facility and is nestled in a highly desirable area of Chicagoland, surrounded by many forest preserves.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon.
• Fellowship trained in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
• Willingness to obtain hospital/OR privileges at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic foot and ankle surgical care.
• Conduct clinic appointments in Orland Park and Mokena.
• Perform surgeries at NM Palos Hospital and NM Orland Park Surgical Center.
• Participate in weekday and weekend call schedules.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system.
