The West Virginia University School of Medicine and Department of Orthopaedics seek an orthopaedic joint reconstruction surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to practice at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. The successful candidate will practice in the area of orthopaedic surgery. As a full member of the health system, Camden Clark is part of a broad, integrated network of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and specialized institutes across West Virginia, Southwestern Pennsylvania, Western Maryland, and Ohio. The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer. The System has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among many others. The Health System operates West Virginia’s first and only multi-organ transplant center, and opened a new, 150-bed Children’s Hospital in September 2022. Today, the WVU Health System has more than 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees. Anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown, the Health System includes more than 20 member hospitals that collectively serve a multi-state region that includes West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
