About The Position

Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist- Retina Specialist to join the Eye Institute. A successful candidate will be part of a collegial and well-established practice with more than 20 doctors representing multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. The provider will acquire an existing robust practice in their respective specialty. These are fantastic opportunities for new graduates or experienced Ophthalmologists.

Requirements

• BC/BE Ophthalmologist- Retina Specialist
• Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
• Patient Care And Procedural Skills
• Professional Etiquette
• Systems-Based Practice

Responsibilities

• Access to Spectralist OCT and Optos wide field imaging with dedicated and experienced photography staff
• Brand new facility with attached ASC
• Nearby Geisinger hospital for cases requiring higher level of care
• Minimal travel to other facilities
• Pascal laser
• Support of residency at main campus
• Call divided among retina specialists
