About The Position

Harrison County Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Office Receptionist. This position is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, 8a-4:30p, 40 hours per week. The Physician Office Receptionist will perform administrative and clinical duties to support medical staff. Communicate with patients and work closely with healthcare professionals. Ability to use analytical skills to understand medical diagnosis and follow medical charts. Harrison County Hospital is one of the county's largest employers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology
  • Annual CPR recertification
  • Ability to operate office equipment: computer, printers, fax machine, copy machine, telephone
