About The Position

ChristianaCare is actively recruiting a BE/BC OB/GYN Laborist for their Newark Campus in Delaware. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with an obstetrical team that includes residents and employed midwives. The hospital is recognized as a leader in healthcare and is ranked No. 42 in the nation in obstetrics and gynecology by U.S. News & World Report. ChristianaCare focuses on improving community health through partnerships, research, and various community health programs. The schedule involves 12, 12-hour shifts per 28-day block, with shifts on Labor and Delivery and the OB ED. The newly expanded Center for Women's & Children's Health offers a state-of-the-art NICU, private rooms, and provides "couplet care." The center also features new labor and delivery suites, expanded OB/GYN emergency services, and a Ronald McDonald Room.

Requirements

• BC/BE OB/GYN
• Ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware
• Meet credentialing requirements

Responsibilities

• Work in a highly collaborative environment with an obstetrical team that includes residents and employed midwives.
• Provide care on Labor and Delivery and the OB ED.
