About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA. Sutter Sacramento is seeking enthusiastic OBGYN Hospitalists to join our innovative OBGYN Hospitalist Program. Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible OB/GYN Physician
• A team player with strong communication skills
• A clinician who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment

Responsibilities

• Manage births in partnership with Certified Nurse Midwives and support an active, high-acuity L&D unit.
• Evaluates all non-labor patients presenting to OBED triage. Admits and manages all unassigned ("no doc") patients when needed.
• Perform GYN procedures and GYN surgeries as needed, ensuring smooth and timely inpatient care.
• Partner closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine to care for high‑risk antepartum patients.
