About The Position

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our hospital-based practice. Our team includes three OBGYN physicians and three certified nurse midwives providing the full spectrum of women's health care - from preventive services and family planning to labor and delivery, perimenopause/menopause care and gynecologic surgery. SVMC averages 400 births per year. Call is 1:4. Employed by Dartmouth Health, with access to system-wide academic resources, mentorship and specialty collaboration. Supportive and collegial team of physicians, CNMs and staff. Robotic-assisted surgical platform to expand minimally invasive gynecologic care. SVMC is a 99-bed, non-profit, hospital serving approximately 75,000 residents across Vermont, New York and Massachusetts. Requirements

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN physician
  • Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
  • Post graduate training in residency program
  • Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
  • Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
  • Active hospital staff membership

Responsibilities

  • Providing the full spectrum of women's health care - from preventive services and family planning to labor and delivery, perimenopause/menopause care and gynecologic surgery.
  • Participating in a 1:4 call schedule.
  • Utilizing a robotic-assisted surgical platform to expand minimally invasive gynecologic care.
  • Collaborating with a supportive and collegial team of physicians, CNMs and staff.
  • Accessing system-wide academic resources, mentorship and specialty collaboration through Dartmouth Health.
