Obstetrics & Gynecology physician Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Stevens Point, WI • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: May 11 - Ongoing • Shifts needed to be filled: - May 11-15 - Jun 27(7a) - Jul 3(7a) - Jul 17(7a) - 24(7a) • Coverage Type: Clinical + call • Shift Schedule: 8-hr shifts • Shift Coverage: OB & GYN, could include annuals & must see pessary patients. • Call Coverage: Do not currently have a full time Dr. so would need assistance w/ the ff: need to answer questions from RNs, keep up on in-basket messages & lab results, etc • Call Schedule: 24-hr calls; 6-7 days per week • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 30 mins • Callback %: Varies • Phone Consults: 0-4 • Patient Volume: 0-4 • Annual Deliveries: Ave. of 150 • Admissions: 0-2 • Rounding Included: Yes • Support Staff: 1-3 RNs, 1-3 MAs & 2 Office Staff • Required Procedures: - Low & high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation: NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds-Performance of, interpretation. - Amniocentesis, routine & complicated delivery - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations - Surgical gynecology • Trauma Level: II • Beds in the Dept: 10 • EMR: Epic •Other Info: - Clinic & hospital birthing center-same location, same floor. - If the occasional Dr is in, she may take a day of call. • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
