About The Position
Geisinger, one of the premier tertiary medical systems on the east coast, serving the northeast and central Pennsylvania regions, is recruiting OB generalists to join the team at Geisinger Women’s Health Northeast in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This role offers a balance of obstetrics and gynecology within a large group of providers consisting of 10 physicians and 21 advanced practitioners. The position involves seeing 15-20 patients per day, with 24-hour laborist coverage and midwives available 12 hours per day. Teaching opportunities are also available.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
- Office Administration skills
Responsibilities
- Balance of obstetrics and gynecology
- See 15-20 patients per day
- Participate in 24-hour laborist coverage
- Work with available midwives (12 hours per day)
- Engage in teaching opportunities
