Physician, OB/GYN – Telemedicine Opportunity – DrHouse
About The Position
DrHouse is seeking board-certified OB/GYN physicians licensed in Mississippi to join its telemedicine team. Physicians may live anywhere in Mississippi, including metropolitan, rural, and underserved communities. The role provides virtual, patient-centered care through secure consultations and offers a flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance. Physicians manage a broad range of cases, including primary care, urgent care, men’s and women’s health, gynecology, obesity care, and chronic conditions. They develop personalized treatment plans guided by current clinical standards, document encounters in the EHR, coordinate remotely with clinicians, and stay current on telehealth standards and best practices.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN.
- Active license in Mississippi.
- Comfort using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with patients virtually.
Nice To Haves
- ABOM certification.
- Licensure in multiple U.S. states, ideally including California, Texas, or Illinois.
- Telemedicine experience or a strong interest in virtual care.
- Passion for obesity and chronic disease management.
- Comfort providing preventive and lifestyle guidance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues.
- Treat patients in internal medicine and related areas, including urgent care, gynecology, and obesity care.
- Design personalized treatment plans supported by current clinical guidelines.
- Record encounters using EHR tools to support accurate follow-up and prescriptions.
- Collaborate remotely with other clinicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Stay updated on telehealth standards and evolving best practices.
