Physician, OB/GYN – Telemedicine Opportunity – DrHouse
About The Position
DrHouse is seeking board-certified OB/GYN physicians licensed in Maine to join its telemedicine team. Physicians may live anywhere in Maine. The role delivers patient-centered virtual care through secure consultations and offers a flexible schedule. Providers manage a broad range of cases, including primary care, urgent care, men’s and women’s health, and chronic conditions. Physicians conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency concerns, develop personalized treatment plans using current clinical guidelines, document encounters in the electronic health record, and collaborate remotely with other clinicians. The position also involves staying current on telehealth standards and best practices.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN.
- Medical license in Maine.
- Comfort using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with patients virtually.
Nice To Haves
- ABOM certification.
- Licensure in multiple U.S. states, ideally including California, Texas, or Illinois.
- Telemedicine experience or strong interest in virtual care.
- Passion for obesity and chronic disease management.
- Comfort providing preventive and lifestyle guidance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues.
- Treat patients in internal medicine and related areas such as urgent care, gynecology, and obesity care.
- Design personalized treatment plans supported by current clinical guidelines.
- Record encounters using EHR tools for accurate follow-up and prescriptions.
- Collaborate remotely with other clinicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Stay updated on telehealth standards and evolving best practices.
