This position offers a chance to join a close-knit group of 1 Physician & 5 Nurse Midwives, with a call schedule of 1 night and 1/5 weekends, and call sharing with a group of 5 physicians. The role also includes integrated behavioral health services, care coordination, and case management on site.
Requirements
- Highly interested in providing exceptional care to all women at all stages of life
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy/maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records
- Support the mission and values of Shawnee Health
- State of Illinois Licensed Physician and Surgeon
- State of Illinois Controlled Substance License
- Federal (DEA) Registration Certificate

Responsibilities
- Office consultations
- Office-based procedures
- Inpatient rounding at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale
- Gynecologic surgeries using latest robotics and training on the da Vinci Surgical System

- 280 hours for full time practitioners for each full fiscal year of employment for vacations, holidays, sick leave, continuing education or other absences from the practice.

- Merit Bonus: Shawnee offers select physicians, dentists, and midlevel practitioners’ productivity incentives based on negotiated criteria.
