Physician: OB/GYN Hospitalist - Lake Forest
About The Position
Northwestern Medical Group is actively recruiting a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist to join their practice. This is a hospital-based role within a growing, nationally recognized health system. The practice model is integrated, focusing on patient safety, and includes both office- and hospital-based OB/GYN physician services. The practice supports 24-hour in-house physician coverage for obstetrics and inpatient/emergent gynecology patients. This model is designed to promote patient safety, allow physicians to focus on preferred areas of OB/GYN, foster work-life balance, and improve job satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to community-focused clinical excellence and patient experience. This is a full-time clinical FTE position with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits. Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is undergoing a campus development project to expand patient care services and access, including increasing hospital beds, relocating and expanding the Emergency Department, and improving access to specialty care.

Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour in-house physician coverage for obstetrics and inpatient/emergent gynecology patients.
- Offer all aspects of gynecologic care for wellness, prenatal obstetrics, complex conditions, and elective surgical needs.
- Focus on patient safety and deliver community-focused clinical excellence.
- Practice medicine with a focus on patient experience.
