About The Position

The UTMB Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an OBGYN Physician (Nocturnist) for UTMB’s Women’s Health Care Group (WHCG). The WHCG operates as an employed physician group with a "private-practice" feel within UTMB’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This group performs approximately 600 deliveries annually and provides full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology services to the community. The position offers opportunities for personal and career growth while practicing in the Clear Lake area, south of Houston. UTMB is a comprehensive academic health center established in 1891, with four schools, a network of hospitals and clinics, and numerous research facilities. The Clear Lake area is a desirable location known for its waterfront residential district, NASA Space Center Houston, Kemah Boardwalk, and Armand Bayou Nature Center.

Requirements

M.D., D.O. from an accredited school.
Board certification or Board eligibility in General OBGYN.
Texas State Medical Licensure.

Provide clinical services such as labor and delivery.
Provide all other hospital responsibilities typically provided by an OB/GYN physician, including triage, inpatient, and Emergency Department consults.
