About The Position

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking a skilled and passionate Non-Invasive General Cardiologist to join our team in Carbondale, IL. This position offers a collaborative and multidisciplinary team environment with strong support from specialists in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and structural heart. The role utilizes the EPIC EMR system for efficient workflow. New fellows are welcome to apply, and the position will support J1-H1B visas.

Requirements

Unrestricted Illinois License (prior to start)
Board Certification/Eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
Clinical doctorate is required.
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
Must be board certified or board eligible.
